    Even though I love winter . . .

there was something about cuddling up with sick boy yesterday while the sun poured in on us that made me finally get a little itchy for spring. My kids love to find craft project templates and instructions online and I decided to try this out for myself. I'm not good at projects -- I have a hard time envisioning them.

cupcakesmlpeek.JPGEnter the Scrapping Spring Ebook from Scrapscene.com (it's $14.99). I'm liking how the projects have a funky-vintage look, something bordering on primitive decor but then using motifs that are trendy right now, like cupcakes and birds. Anyway I've downloaded the book and I'm going to try the Cupcake Canvas first --- it reminds me of the framed fabric pieces at a local store Just the Thing. Then next one of the bird projects. chicksmlpeek.JPGAlso, I LOVE the vintage jewery flowers -- makes me want to hit the antique shops in Northwood.
